Hello everyone - Greetings from San Antonio, Texas. It was great having the opportunity to meet many of you in yesterday’s General Assembly meeting. I look forward to getting to know you all and hopefully collaborating in future endeavors.
My name is Matt and I represent BLOCKS (Bitcoin Learning Outreach Creating Knowledgeable Students). @BLOCKS010309 on X.
About me. - I teach Business Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Management, Logistics, (and more) full time at a local community college here in San Antonio. I became interested in Bitcoin relatively recently (late 2022). After almost two years of increasingly intense study and interest I began a ā€œBitcoin Clubā€ at my school last August using the same name as here (BLOCKS). As the faculty advisor of a new, emerging, student club, I was putting together as many activities and instructional materials I could find when I came across Mi Primer Bitcoin and was amazed at the quality of available educational resources and network of like-minded groups and individuals Mi Primer Bitcoin offers. My hope is that, in large part because of numerous personal and professional contacts related to my job, I can help my students, school, and the Alamo community in general, come to learn and appreciate the amazing gift Satoshi Nakamoto gave to the world not so many years ago. Once again, thanks to the nodes that approved our application and I hope to update frequently with stories of success.

I’m a Bitcoin advocate from Tanzania and the founder of BitcoinSafariTz, an initiative focused on educating Tanzanians about particularly Bitcoin. Am working to raise awareness of digital currencies as a tool for financial inclusion and economic growth in Tanzania. Through my platform, i have provided resources and guidance on the potential of Bitcoin to revolutionize local economies. My achievements include fostering local interest in bitcoin and establishing myself as a key figure in Tanzania’s growing bitcoin adoption and community.

Proof of Work done by me Graysatoshi in Tanzania:

Bitcoin Education: Graysatoshi has conducted workshops, seminars, and online sessions to demystify Bitcoin for Tanzanians, especially targeting those unfamiliar with digital assets.

Community Outreach: He leverages community-driven models to teach the utility of Bitcoin, focusing on its decentralized nature and potential for financial freedom.

Use of Bitcoin for Transactions: Promoting real-world applications of Bitcoin for remittances and daily transactions.

Partnership Building: Working with local businesses and startups to integrate Bitcoin and blockchain technology into their operations.

Onboard bitcoin merchant in Tanzania and total we have 32 btc merchant live on http://btcmap.org

Current Plans i have to Expand Bitcoin Adoption in Tanzania;

Scaling Education Initiatives: Plans to expand Bitcoin literacy programs in schools and universities.

Advocacy for Friendly Regulations: Engaging policymakers to create a conducive environment for Bitcoin and blockchain adoption.

Collaborations: Forming partnerships with international Bitcoin educators and organizations to bring resources and support to Tanzania.

Practical Implementations: Introducing tools and apps to simplify Bitcoin use for microtransactions, potentially leveraging the Lightning Network for faster, cheaper transactions.

These efforts align with global trends in Bitcoin adoption and the goal of increasing financial inclusion through cryptocurrency. For further information on Bitcoin advocacy efforts, you can refer to broader educational resources such as Cointelegraph’s Bitcoin educational initiatives.

Thanks
Regards

Hello MPB community,

I’m BelyĆÆ Nobel, a Bitcoin educator and advocate from Burundi, East Africa. As the founder of BTC Shule, I am committed to empowering individuals and communities through Bitcoin education, particularly in the French-speaking world.

My Bitcoin journey began in 2020, and since then, I’ve been captivated by its transformative potential. I integrated Bitcoin education into the curriculum of the Free Tech Institute, an organization I founded to teach Burundian youth essential digital skills. However, my perspective shifted profoundly after attending the Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town conference in 2024, where I witnessed the power of circular economies built on Bitcoin.

Inspired by visits to communities like Bitcoin Ekasi in South Africa, I launched BTC Shule to promote Bitcoin adoption and economic resilience in Burundi. Through bilingual educational resources, in-person meetups, and online courses, BTC Shule works to demystify Bitcoin and foster financial sovereignty in a country often burdened by inflation and economic instability.

I’m particularly excited to contribute to Mi Primer Bitcoin by supporting Bitcoin education in French and leveraging your valuable resources. Our vision includes developing a learning management system (LMS) course in French using MPB’s tools and resources, making Bitcoin knowledge more accessible to Francophone communities globally.

I’m thrilled to connect, collaborate, and learn from you.

Thank you,
BelyĆÆ Nobel :zap:

I’m Fernando Motolese, an Italo-Brazilian musician, developer, cybersecurity researcher, founder of Praia Bitcoin Jericoacoara, CEO of Bitcoinize, and the proponent of the Bitcoin Economy Confederation.

Praia Bitcoin, also known as Bitcoin Beach Brazil, began as a bold initiative to replicate the success of Bitcoin Beach in El Salvador here in Brazil. Our journey has brought us to Jericoacoara, a breathtaking village located within a National Park, 300 km from Fortaleza on CearÔ’s west coast.

Though Jericoacoara is a premier tourist destination, it faces an unsettling reality: the complete absence of ATMs. This leaves many locals disconnected from the traditional financial system, unable to access basic financial services. Bitcoin offers a transformative solution, empowering communities through financial inclusion and creating opportunities for those excluded by conventional banks.

Over the past three years, the Praia Bitcoin experiment has grown into a thriving movement. Since 2021, we’ve raised over 7 BTC to establish a Bitcoin Circular Economy, funding projects that support local merchants, educate the community, and create practical Bitcoin use cases. From small businesses to families, Bitcoin has become a lifeline for financial empowerment and resilience.

Now, we’re taking a bold step forward by joining the My First Bitcoin Node Network. This partnership marks a critical milestone in our mission to drive hyperbitcoinization in Brazil.

But this is only the beginning. Together, we are building a future where financial freedom isn’t a privilege but a right—one transaction, one merchant, and one community at a time. Jericoacoara is proof that Bitcoin is hope, and we’re excited to inspire others to join us in spreading this movement far beyond our shores.
