Once you’ve completed your first Bitcoin Diploma cohort and experienced the power of education firsthand, you’re ready for the next step, joining the Bitcoin Education Network.
The Bitcoin Education Network is where independent Bitcoin educators and communities come together to collaborate, share best practices, and strengthen one another. Becoming a Node means connecting your local initiative to a global ecosystem dedicated to Open Source Bitcoin Education, a network built on trust, freedom, and collective growth.
Each Node upholds the same core values that guide My First Bitcoin:

These principles ensure that every educator in the network contributes to a transparent, impartial, and empowering learning experience for their students.
There are two ways to participate. As a Light Node, your community joins the network officially, gaining access to mentorship, collaboration, and shared tools. Over time, proven leadership and alignment with the network’s values can lead to becoming a Full Node, with a direct role in governance, helping vote on new members, guide educators, and safeguard the network’s integrity.
Joining the Education Network means becoming part of something much bigger than your own classroom. It’s joining a worldwide movement of educators who believe that knowledge should be free, accessible, and transformative. Together, we’re building a future where Bitcoin education belongs to everyone.

Introduce yourself on the Community Hub to all other educators.

Sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and send it to arnold@myfirstbitcoin.org.
