3. Take Original Materials And Start Translating

In the previous Step 2, we learned how to strengthen and support the Community of translators as well as WHY we should use this category. Now, in this step 3, the focus is on using original materials to begin the translation process.

We offer two ways of translating the workbook(s) to your desired language:

    1. SIMPLE VERSION: EDITABLE PDF
Go to BD Local Translation - My First Bitcoin and start from scratch. No design skills needed! This is a quick, easy, and accessible solution that doesn’t require any special software.

You’ll learn more about the steps in the next wiki.

    1. ADVANCED VERSION: UPDATE PDF WITH ADOBE
For those with experience using Adobe Illustrator, the most precise and professional way to translate our materials is by editing the original design files directly.

These editable .ai files are available in our official 2024 GitHub repository. Using this method allows you to maintain the original layout, fonts, and visual consistency while replacing only the text. It’s ideal for creating high-quality translated versions that look just like the original.

Requirements:

  • Access to Adobe Illustrator
  • Basic design knowledge
  • Familiarity with handling text layers and saving/exporting files

You can find the Adobe Illustrator files here: GitHub Repository - 2024 Adobe Files

This approach is recommended for translators and pro designers who want to ensure the most accurate and visually aligned result.

To give you an even better overview, we’ve added an extra step that explains exactly how the PDF file works. We’ve also created video tutorials just for you. You can access this section in the next wiki.
